Video servers are also called Network Video Servers or IP Video Servers, its main purpose is to aid the transition of analog signals (CCTV cameras) to digital/network/IP video streams, which is capable being broadcast over any IP network.The VS 210A Video Server is a single channel solution with superior performance in integrating analog cameras and turns it into digital video surveillance system. The video server receives data from the analog device through pricy coax cables (BNC) which is already installed throughout the surveillance area (i.e. buildings, parking lots, residential area, intersection, etc.) takes the data and securely encrypted.  The device can then be connected to any Plustek Smart NVR Series and start your monitoring and recording needs.  It is the most flexible installation when deciding to upgrade your system, thus saving you more money.
